Cardio Impulso Cuyo 2026: the Southern Cone gathers in Mendoza around cardiac CT and MR

Dr. Javier López-Opitz, INCIC member, represented Chile at the first Southern Cone cardiac CT and MR meeting, alongside specialists from Uruguay, Argentina and Brazil.

For the first time, cardiac computed tomography and magnetic resonance specialists from four Southern Cone countries met at a single event. Cardio Impulso Cuyo 2026, held in Mendoza, Argentina, brought together experts from Uruguay, Argentina, Brazil and Chile, including Dr. Javier López-Opitz, INCIC member.

The cardiologist shared the sessions with Juliano Lara Fernandes, Hugo Martínez Fernández, Laura Dragonetti and Natalia Lluberas.

Looking back on the meeting, Dr. López-Opitz described the sessions as excellent and thanked María de la Paz Ricapito, the Argentine Society of Cardiology and Noemi Saldeña for the impeccable organisation.
